Sammons BrainHealth Imaging Center

The Sammons BrainHealth Imaging Center provides MRI services for researchers at UTD and partner institutions in the scientific quest to measure brain health across the lifespan.

State-of-the-Art Research Imaging Facility

The Sammons BrainHealth Imaging Center at UT Dallas is a one-of-a-kind research-dedicated facility focused on human brain imaging to measure changes in brain health and function.

We offer an inviting non-clinical atmosphere with free parking (including designated parking for MRI participants).

It houses two Siemens 3T Prisma scanners and is located at the UTD Center for BrainHealth® in Dallas’ medical district adjacent to UT Southwestern Medical Center.

The facility serves as a hub for research scientists and partners to collaborate in advancing our understanding of brain health. Services are available to researchers from UT Dallas and other institutions in the surrounding community.

MRI Machine

An auditory equipped MRI Simulator provides researchers an opportunity to introduce participants, from infants to elderly, to the MRI environment (generously provided by the Sapphire Foundation).

UTD celebrated the opening of the Sammons BrainHealth Imaging Center on November 21, 2019
